Geothermotherapy is the alternate use of hot & cold stones on your body during a massage in order to bring about physiological and psychological benefits. Used along with hot stones, cold stones create a dramatic movement of fluids within the body, generating a healing, cleansing & nourishing effect, due to the alternate constriction & dilation of the blood vessels. The dilation and constriction of blood vessels increases blood circulation & metabolism, this same action also stimulates & promotes lymphatic drainage (pretty much vascular gymnastics for the body).
